The Choir had a great weekend away  from 2nd to 4th October  with two concerts in Alfreston Church on 3rd and  Christ Church Worthing. on 4th    The Choir  performed the Faurè Requiem and the Vivaldi  Gloria at each venue. We had an excellent Hotel, a good time was had by all.

In October 2002 the Choir sang in Paris at the American Church  and in the Notra Dame Bon Secures Hospice Chapel .

The Choir visited  Belgium  in October 2004. And gave a performance  in the 'Church of Our Lady' In Bruge repeating  the performance in  'St Baafs Cathedral' in Ghent. 

The Choir  visited Amsterdam   in October 2007 and performed two concerts to packed audiences.

Several Members of the Southend Choral Society, together with members from the Southend Bach Choir and the Festival Chorus sang as guests of the Southend Girls & Boys Choirs  at St James's Church. Piccadilly in December 2005. And previously sang with them in St Paul's Church. Covent Garden. London  The Church, known as the Actors Church, lies in a quiet & peaceful corner of Covent Garden away from the busy hustle & bustle of the crowds. A most enjoyable event for everyone.
A chance to see the Christmas Lights, To get that last minute Christmas shopping , and then to enjoy making music in these famous old London Churches, bringing a real spirit and message of Christmas.
